Objectives

After this course student will be able to:

• Set up your company in Tally: The first step is to create a company profile in Tally. You will need to provide basic information such as the company name, address, financial year, currency, and more.
• Configure financial accounting settings: Tally allows you to configure various financial accounting settings, such as defining account groups, creating ledgers, setting up taxation rules, and more.
• Record transactions: Once your company is set up in Tally, you can start recording financial transactions. This includes recording sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.
• Generate invoices: Tally allows you to create invoices easily. You can customize your invoices with your company logo, address, and other details. You can also set up templates for different types of invoices.
• Track inventory: If you are dealing with inventory, Tally allows you to easily track inventory levels and create purchase and sales orders.
• Generate financial statements: Tally allows you to generate various financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and more.
