Kumudni Seva Sansthan is a voluntary organization registered under the Societies Registration Act of India.
Kumudni Seva Sansthan has been working for over 12 years, Kumudni Seva Sansthan was promoted by like-minded Educationists, Doctors, Legal experts, Technocrats, Dynamic entrepreneurs, enthusiastic students and effervescent youth, all of whom were inspired by the conviction that individuals with knowledge resources and empathy for the marginalised must work with communities at the grassroots in order to help them overcome poverty and also share a common desire to bring about social change by empowering the unemployed and out-of-work youth by training them on vocational skills to make them ‘Eduployable’ [Educated + Employable].
Kumudni Seva Sansthan believes that the path towards conquering economic poverty is through enhancing the livelihood capabilities of the poor and giving them access to sustainable income earning opportunities. In the process, the poor must be enabled to break free from their past, develop an alternative vision of their future and set achievable goals. They must be equipped with the technical, organizational, negotiating, and networking skills that will facilitate the fulfillment of their goals. Our aim is to stimulate and support these poor women and men to dream of a better future and stimulate their sense of agency as they endeavour to enhance incomes, improve access to services or claim rights and entitlements. The organization is an ISO 9001:2008 certified and is acknowledged as a leading educational provider in the area of vocational training.
UP FOR SKILLS – We are teamed to charter the needs of the society by providing a platform where individuals are trained towards skills needed in Industry. We have conceptualized the means of providing training by Offline and Online Mode. We are motivated to establish this hybrid model in our Institute and also to train and educate more than 1000 students. We are also looking forward to affiliate educational institutes for Vocational Training in states of India
- Since its inception Kumudni Seva Sansthan has already trained more than 15,000 youths.
- Kumudni Seva Sansthan is also associated with Bihar Urban Development Agency, a Bihar Government initiative and has trained more than 2000 people extending livelihood options in the fields of ICT, Beautician and Fashion Designing.
- Kumudni Seva Sansthan is a partner organization of State Urban Development Agency, under Dept. of Urban Development, Govt. of Jharkhand and is having a mandate to train and place more than 2000 urban youths spread across 6 districts of Jharkhand in the year 2013–14 & 2014-15.
- Kumudni Seva Sansthan is a partner organization of State Urban Development Authority, Uttar Pradesh for Implementing the NULM project on skill development of urban youths across 16 ULB of UP
- Kumudni Seva Sansthan is a partner institute of National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business development (NIESBUD), an apex body established by the Ministry of Industries, Government of India for coordinating, training and overseeing the activities of various institutions/agencies engaged in ‘Entrepreneurship Development’, particularly in the areas of small industry and small businesses.
- Kumudni Seva Sansthan is working with the Bihar Board of Open Schooling & Examination, under Govt. of Bihar and is providing entry level vocational skill development programs to the youths spread across 3 districts in the state.
